• Zope 3 (a.k.a. Zope Component Architecture)

  The new component architecture seeks to make developing for Zope easier by clarifying and simplifying the task of extending Zope.

• Zope 2.9

  The next release of the Zope 2 application server.

• ZODB (Zope Object Database)

  The ZODB area is where longer-term ZODB development takes place.

• DCOracle2

  An Oracle database adapter based on OCI8.

• ZEO Storage Replication

  This project aims to implement replication of ZEO storage server to provide greater availability.

Other projects

• New Zope.org

  This supercedes the old Zope.org Collaboration Enhancement proposal. This is the project area where the transition to a CMF-based Zope.org is being discussed.

• Implement notification for fishbowl (and other zope.org) Wikis

  It's too hard to track changes in the fishbowl. Wiki change notifications should help.

• XML Wiki

  The XML wiki pre-dates the Fishbowl and there are several xml-related projects located there.

  Parsed XML is the successor to XMLDocument, a product to store and edit XML in an XML-centric way.
