Developer Resources

There are a number of useful resources available to developers working on Zope and other open projects.

  • The Zope Vision document provides some contextual background on what we are trying to achieve with Zope. It answers questions like "what is Zope?" and who our audiences are.
  • The Zope development roadmap discusses the current high-level goals driving Zope development.
  • Zope is developed in an open fashion, using publically-accessible source versioning. See the CVS section for the story (including instructions for using the repository and our development guidelines), and the CVSWeb interface for a web view of the repository.
