Zope Tutorial Preview

Welcome to the Zope Tutorial 1.0a5

The Zope Tutorial is a project to create better documentation for new Zope users.

For more background see the tutorial notes

Warning

The Tutorial preview installs parts of the new Zope on-line help system. I do not anticipate any problems, but to be on the safe side, you shouldn't install the tutorial on a production server.

Download Zope Tutorial 1.0a5, released April 24, 2000

ZopeTutorial.tgz Requires Zope 2.1.6 or greater

Note: Updated April 24, 2000 10:50 pm PDT. Thanks to Scott Boyd for noticing a packing error. If you downloaded the tutorial between 7pm and 10:50 pm PDT, please download the fixed distribution.

Installation

Installation has changed for this release of the tutorial.

  1. Download the ZopeTutorial.tgz file.
  2. Place it in your Zope directory.
  3. Ungzip and untar the file. (Windows users can use WinZip). This will install the tutorial and overwrite some existing Zope files.
  4. Restart Zope.
  5. Add a "Zope Tutorial" object from the product add list.

If you are having trouble, enable cookies in your browser.
