The FolderFilter Product provides drop-in objects called Folder Filter Holders. Once you have added one of these to your Zope (probably in the root Folder) you can define and apply filters to the Contents tab of your Folders. These filters let you focus on particular meta-types, hiding objects that you aren't interested in working with at the moment.
Now you can cut your Add list down to size by hiding the 80% of the object types that you hardly ever use.
To install, download the latest release and unpack it into the Products directory of your Zope. Restart Zope, add a "Folder Filter Holder" to your root, and make some filters!
