Discussion icon Using Zope External Editor with Galeon

Posted by: bveal at 2003-08-29

After some difficulty, I got Zope External Editor working with Galeon 1.3.x in Linux. You'll need the mimeTypes.rdf file here. It goes in ~/.galeon/mozilla/galeon. Changing the NC:path to "/usr/bin/python /usr/bin/zopeedit.py" appears to fix the problem with the editor starting twice.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by having Tk install properly? Do I need Tk development libraries or is it just that RedHat 9 sucks?

To fix the import Tkinter problem on redhat 9, you need some replacement RPMs for Redhat9
