ZChecker 0.1 Released
ZChecker 0.1 is the first development release of ZChecker, its a little short on rules and documentation (i.e.: none) at the moment.
However ZChecker automates checking of your ZODB objects for bugs and errors, in a similar manner to pychecker. It provides a flexible and easily extensible system (write your own checks). It will currently:
- if you have mxtidy installed it will run your PageTemplates through it and tell you errors
- any warnings or errors on your PageTemplates or Script (Python) objects
- some (well two at the moment) DTML errors, for example using dtml-tree in a DTML Document
- support for FS* objects from CMF
This is a development release, documentation is to come. This is born from the Plone project where it is used in development. Some of the code (and most of the inspiration) is by Alan Runyan and Geoff Davis.
