I'm an interactive media consultant, currently living and working in Lima ( images|sounds ), Peru.

Having the background of multimedia production and information architecture, I became interested in Zope's incredible and smart architecture at the end of year 2000, and now my current goals regarding its technology are in the areas of site personalization, mainstream portal administration, and information technology for the travel industry.

I've developed a Personalization product for the CMF, CMFPortlets from which a former version I released last year. Before I had released a product extension which allows Ron Bicker's Photo product to retrieve and store Iptc and Exif metadata from digital images; and a user interface enhancements proposal. Since then I've been thinking of resources needed for a full featured Media Asset Management System, maybe merging My Media Manager capabilities with those of Photo, but my tasks lead me to the travel industry for which I'm developing © TrueVoyage, a zope-based turnkey system for travel agencies and tour operators doing inbound tourism, featuring concepts like dynamic packaging, instant quoting with rich content itineraries, all of them integrated to the agency workflow, seamlessly. Several features are in the same direction of my previous goals, like mass images processing and editing without Photoshop; an efficiency booster gadget called OmniActions, so I expect to release updates of my previous portlets-for-zope product as soon as I can. In my spare times I try to create Zope tutorials in Flash files. I started with the first of a two-part one on ZClasses.
