Zope Poster Child

While I don't participate much in the newsgroup frenzy, I appreciate it, Zope, ZC, and the Zope community. I'm doing my best to give back to the community with products and ideas.

• The Virtual Host Folder (VHF) is an attempt to provide a powerful alternative to the Virtual Host Monster. It is coming along nicely, and now has a much improved UI, a component-based architecture, powerful aliases, regular expressions, redirects, an API, arbitrary properties, and more. I think it's more than worth a look. I just put it on SourceForge for some other folks to join in on development.
• The CMF Virtual Host Tool provides CMF access to the VHF, and allows you to host sub-portals within the CMF, with their own skin lists and default skin, their own title, flexible breadcrumb functionality, and more. It's also part of the same SourceForge project as the VHF.
• I've expended a fairly large amount of effort on the ObjectHub proposal for Zope 3--object relationships are near and dear to my Zope dreams.

I'm making some notes about squid and sysadmin stuff and unit and functional testing. I contributed a new implementation of OrderedObjectManager to Stephan Richter's OrderedFolder and modified the main DTML a bit; and I gave some ZPTs to the CMFPhotoAlbum product. I had a JavaScript tool in the works as well that maybe I can get back to soon.

Notes to self:

2. If you want to build Zope 2.4+ with python 2.2, you need a Makefile.pre.in placed in the python config directory. Use this one.
