ZopeTestCase is a unit testing framework and TestCase for Zope testing. It is built on PyUnit and the Testing package shipping with Zope.

ZopeTestCase has features to support a wide range of test scenarios, from small unit tests to running regression suites against existing ZODBs. It supports testing in INSTANCE_HOME situations and is fully testrunner compatible.

The idea is to make Zope testing as simple as possible. No more GuruWritesTests!

Note that ZopeTestCase is part of Zope since version 2.8.

New in 0.9.9:

• Fixed transaction.get() which would always return None.
• The transaction module now supports savepoint().
• Functional.publish() would hang if it got a request_method argument other than GET or HEAD while omitting the stdin argument.
• Made functional doctests set cookie related headers.
• Made functional doctests set the Www-Authenticate header.
