I am absolutely in favor of making a profit, but this site seems to be getting too many Commercial product listings. I hope that Zope is charging for this ad space. It would be only fair.

Why should Announcements for Commercial companies be treated differently? When you consider the amount of contributions in the form of development or organization time for things like sprints alone this seems a foolish comment to make. Not to mention that products like icoya have a good chance of getting a "foot in the door" because of targeting particular industries (SAP integration comes to mind) for Zope and Plone.

There's nothing wrong with commercial announcements on this site, but I would like to see a clear distinction between Open Source and proprietry/commercial announcements.

A different icon/category or whatever is enough..
