on behalf of Zope developer community I am pleased to announce the release of Zope 2.11.1 beta 1 You can download the sources and the Windows version from

The major new features of Zope 2.11 are

• integration of latest Zope components (aka Zope 3.4 components)
• updated to ZODB 3.8 with BLOB support (binary large objects)
• transactional MailHost implementation and asynchronous mail delivery

and in addition lots of minor improvements and bug fixes.

Supported Python versions:

Zope 2.11 requires Python 2.4.3+ (Python 2.4.2 is still acceptable). Older Python versions are no longer supported. Python 2.5 is not supported at this time.
