Dublin Core Elements

The Dublin Core metadata element set is a standard for cross-domain information resource description.
Element Description Value
Identifier resource ID http://old.zope.org/Members/ats/COREBlog/Collector.2003-10-11.2831/74
Title resource name Double dash "--" in blog entry causes mis-rendering
Description resource summary When a double dash "--" is used in the body of a posting a comment closing tag ("-->") appears in the title for that entry. This appears to be an unparsed closing tag for the RDF "header" that is injected into each posting. May be reproducible in other browsers. To Reproduce: Create a blog entry and use "--" in the body. More than one set of double dashes produces the same result - the "-->" in the title will not disappear until all double dashes are removed from the blog entry. The double dash appears as an unparsed closing tag for the RDF "header" that is injected into each posting. Viewing source in Mozilla the "-->" tag appears to be rendered incorrectly.
