Manage Security

On this page you can set up what type of access users should have to this object. You do this by managing what roles each user and group will have in this location. You can set up which permissions each role has here .

Modify local roles

The following roles are currently defined. To remove added or blocked roles, select them and click "Remove".

Modify applied role groups

When you apply a role group, the members of the role group will get the roles defined in it. You can set up the definitions of the role groups here.

Effective roles

Enter a full or partial name of a user or group here to show the effective roles for users or groups matching the search criteria:

The roles each user has in this location is a combination his local roles, the local roles for all groups he belongs to, the roles the user has in any applied role groups, and any roles he has in the folder above this location, minus any blocked roles. This table shows all changes made in this location and the effective roles that result from this.
