Dublin Core Elements

The Dublin Core metadata element set is a standard for cross-domain information resource description.

Identifier resource ID http://old.zope.org/Members/hathawsh/TransparentFolders
Title resource name
Description resource summary NOTE: This product is designed to work with Zope 2.2 and above. Earlier versions of Zope do not allow this form of Transparent Folders and ZClasses to coexist. The Transparent Folders concept is acquisition in reverse. Normal folders acquire objects from parent folders, but folders that contain transparent folders are also able to get attributes and methods from the contained transparent folders. Transparent Folders provide the ability to move content out of a folder while still providing access to it through direct acquisition. This is one possible solution to unwieldy Zope root folders. Thanks goes out to Martijn Faassen (faassen at vet.uu.nl) for the idea. Developers: If you have made changes to lib/python/OFS/__init__.py, don't install this product until you have backed up __init__.py. The change to __init__.py involves only three lines of code, so you can add these lines to your own code. It should work well with standard Zope installations, but it is recommended that you don't install this on production servers yet. To be completely safe, make a backup of your Zope installation (not just Data.fs) before installing. Version 0.3.1 is compatible with Zope 2.3.3 and Zope 2.4.x.
