Silva 1.0 release candidate 1

The Silva development team is happy to announce the Silva 1.0, release candidate 1. Silva is an open source content management system with a focus on structured content and its reuse. The most important feature of Silva 1.0 is deeply integrated support for Kupu, the WYSIWYG through the web editor with support for Mozilla and Internet Explorer.

Silva 1.0rc1 adds bugfixes and most importantly upgrade support for Silva 0.9.3 users. Please test it out and let us know about any problems.

Silva 1.0rc1 ships with full documentation that is a Silva publication in itself. When you install a new Silva root you get the option to install the documentation as well.

Other new features are image thumbnail support and image cropping support.

The -all .tgz ships with everything needed, including Kupu.
