Silva 0.9.3 alpha released!

Infrae is pleased to release Silva 0.9.3 alpha, for your testing and inspecting pleasure. Silva is a structured publication system for Zope that can be used to construct and maintain websites, but for instance also export its contents through XML to Word, using DocMa.

This release contains many smaller and larger changes, as well as many code cleanups. Most notable is the new GhostFolder content type which can be used to mirror entire folders to other locations.

Please download the Silva-0.9.3a1-all.tgz tarball for easy installation. Unpack it into your products directory, add a 'Silva Root' object to your Zope and go to the edit screens by clicking /edit in the Silva root. Please download the -all tarball and not the alpha release itself, as many of the dependencies have changes as well.

Note: This is an alpha release for evaluation purposes only, so expect problems and report the bugs on our mailing lists (silva-general, silva-dev). In particular, no functionality is provided yet for upgrades from Silva version 0.9.2. If you are just trying to take a look at Silva for the first time, consider trying version version 0.9.2 instead, which also has a nice windows installer
