Silva External Sources 0.7 released

Infrae is happy to announce the release of Silva External Sources 0.7. Silva External Sources is an extension to Silva to include data from external sources in Silva Documents. This allows a really easy way to integrate programmatic logic within Silva sites.

Silva External Sources consists of:

Code Source, which can be used to include the result of arbitrary Python code in a Silva Document
SQL Source, which can be used to include the result of an SQL query in a Silva Document presented as a table
CSV Source, which can be used to include CSV data in a Silva Document presented as a table

Code Source and SQL Source can be managed in the ZMI by Zope Managers, while CSV Source presents a Silva UI user interface, so that Silva users can upload CSV data. Code Source is extensively configurable and can present itself as a parameterized form in the Silva editor.

Silva External Sources can be downloaded here. It has been developed as a Silva extension by Infrae.
