  HELP!!

  does the catalog need to insure security of packages?

  does the catalog need to be a public key server with associated infrastructure?

  needs to run ssl.

    moving to the openacs, greatly helps out here. To some minor annoyance
    i'm making all user logins, package uploading, user account changes, and  administrative screens happen over https.

 to some extent its impossible to make loading code from an external site dynamically secure from a client pov. at best an audit/blame trail can be created.
