    My experience with ZOPE was to take a few people in my organization expose them to ZOPE (they had to redo our website in ZOPE anyway they wanted to).  Here are my current ways of breaking it down:

    * Use and Control of the Platform - 

    * Application Development

        * customizing Components/Products

        * from scratch

    * extending ZOPE - 

    
   but let me explain how the people interpreted ZOPE.  mind you, I was doing another project and was not able to sit next to see how there thoughts processes went 'astray'.  neither programmer was a python programmer and had never seen the syntax.  its continued and fairly brief in MyZopeExperience
