Under 4.0F & Zope 2.4.3, Python 2.1.1 (compiled with DEC threads and cc rather than gcc) throws a stack overflow error:
Stack overflow: pid 1785, proc python, addr 0x140ed3fe8, pc 0x120062858

I've googled all over the place, and this has been a FAQ on DEC platforms, but no one has suggested how to fix it.
