this is always in flux, and the numbers arent necessarily accurate.

  • approx 2000 subscribes to the main zope list . this is very high trafficed and many developers no longer subscribe to it, but have moved over to the zope-dev list. most of the questions are support in nature to usable or product development (extensions to ZOPE) There is approximately 1600 messages/month on the list, and on the weekdays is ~100 messages/day.
  • approx 800 subscribes to the zope development list . this is discussions revolving around the internals of ZOPE and the ZOPE API.
  • according to statistics - in May, 00 zope received 175k visits.
  • Zope Documentation Portal is always there for answers and questions. currently the Zope Book for O'Reilly is in the works and most of the concentration on how to integrate ZDP and ZOPE.ORG is a main focus. ZOPE.ORG's documentation effort is the Documentation Project. These two are figure out ways to meld efforts.
