**Different ways of changing your CMF course portal look and feel**

- choose one of the default skins

- create own skins by editing **portal_skins** in CMF *manage*
  
  - start by copying existing skin to new name and then modify (in "french":http://www.zopera.org/Members/sdebruyne/sdebruyne/CrationdunSkin )

  - change stylesheet with **stylesheet_properties** using "colorguide":http://cmf.zope.org/Members/bowerymarc/stylesheet_colorguide

  - for structural changes, edit other methods in that subfolder (see "Howto write your own skin":http://cmf.zope.org/doc/devel/writing_skins )

  - go to properties tab of **portal_skins** and add your new skin

 - use localHeader and localFooter to add more stuff to standard_HTML_header and standard_footer
