Znolk SQL Wizard: A Wizard that creates forms for manipulating SQL data

Znolk SQL Wizard will help you to create database interactions. Just select the tables and columns where you want to insert data and the wizard will create:

  • forms for browsing,inserting,updating,deleting data
  • SQL methods for browsing,inserting,updating,deleting data

  • A result page that calls the SQL methods

you can submit bugs/suggestions under the Bugtracker

Currently the Wiz is reported to work with the following database adapters:


  • Gadfly
  • MySQL
  • PostgreSQL (psyco,ZPygresDA)
  • Oracle
  • Sybase
  • ODBC
  • Interbase - thanks to Tom Deprez ([email protected])

Adapt it to work with other databases should be very easy.

I wrote Znolk as a tool for my own work to quickly create database forms. It is by far not perfect yet and there are lots of work to do as for example:
  • implement more flexibility for layout tasks
  • handling master/detail forms
Any hints to improve Znolk are appreciated
