Dublin Core Elements

The Dublin Core metadata element set is a standard for cross-domain information resource description.
Element Description Value
Identifier resource ID http://old.zope.org/Members/zxc/vimFTPExplorer
Title resource name vim FTP Explorer
Description resource summary This product is based on explorer.vim script, it's very similar to it, but it browses a remote FTP server instead of a Local File System. As vim lacks ftp support, This product uses a python script for that purpose. IMPORTANT: If you use this product try it first on some test files that you dont mind getting zero'ed, It never happened to me, but well, just take precautions before using it over a very important file. Features: - Browses your zope ftp server from vim. - Open and Save files directly to FTP. (not like most ftp clients that will upload to ftp when you quit the editor). - Works with vim and gvim (it must be compiled with python support though). - meta_type guessing to enable the correct syntax highlighting. Future Goals: - Configuration file to allow several ftp servers to choose from. - remote object creation (Python script, DTML Method, DTML Document, ZSQL Method, and any other ftp editable zope object). Who knows, it may even work :) - Easier Installation procedure <h4>Screenshots: <a href="screenshots">Here</a></h4>
