As part of NIP's ZEO testing, we wanted to see what happened if you killed the storage server.
Cool-ly, the clients keep serving reads :-) Writes get a 'ClientDisconnected' error, as expected.
However, one the storage server starts back up, the client connects again:
2001-03-25T15:36:53 INFO(0) ClientStorage Connected to storage
...reads work again (dunno if they get any changes from the SS...) but writes
don't work.
There's no ClientDisconnected error, the browser just sits and spins 'Waiting for reply...'
Any ideas?
cheers,
Chris
