Zope Studio has two major interfaces; the main editor interface, and a Object Browser for general Object management (moving, renaming, deleting, etc.)
These interfaces might seem cramped at first, but do note that these probably are the smallest you will ever see them. This design just about fits on a 640x480 screen like this. Imagine them on 800x600 or bigger. The main interface

In this interface the bulk of your editing work will take place. First of all, there is a menubar and a toolbar. Optionally this could expand to multiple toolbars, each specialized for certain tasks. Note that there are several areas, 'panels', each with their own function in the main part of the interface (from top to bottom, left to right):
Not shown are details like context-menus and tooltips on everything
This is just a concept view. This does not mean that any of these features named will actualy get implemented. But I does mean that I want to see them in there. The Object Browser

The object browser is aimed at making object management, renaming them, deleteing, moving them around the hierarchy, and accessing security settings easy. Again, it has a menubar, toolbar, tooltips and context-menus. Think Windows Explorer. |
